Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal performance and upkeep of their industrial electrical infrastructure. This on-site role is crucial for minimizing downtime, ensuring safety, and maintaining the efficiency of electrical equipment and systems within the facility. You will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and overseeing electrical upgrade projects.

The ideal candidate possesses strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to electrical maintenance and system reliability.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all industrial electrical equipment, including motors, transformers, switch gear, and control panels.
• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions and breakdowns efficiently and safely.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and ensure operational continuity.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
• Assist in the planning and execution of electrical system upgrades and modifications.

• Associate's degree or relevant trade certification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
