Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end book publishing process.
This includes assigning writers, managing the editorial process, coordinating proofreading activities and collaborating with designers to ensure the creation of engaging and interactive books.
The project Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the brand voice and style, creating and adhering to content calendars, developing content strategies, managing team members, and ensuring consistency across all content platforms.
Project Manager’s Responsibilities
● Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet project requirements and stay within
budget constraints.
● Collaborate with authors to understand their vision and guide them through the writing
process.
● Ensuring the highest editorial standards are maintained. Coordinate the editing process to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
● Maintain consistency and accuracy in the final manuscript, eliminate errors and enhance
overall content quality.
● Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure timely delivery of books. Communicate
effectively with all stakeholders, including authors, writers, editors, and designers.
● Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the project stays on track.
● Regularly monitor project progress, identify any deviations from the plan, and provide
timely and accurate updates to stakeholders.
● Work closely with designers to create visually appealing and engaging content. Ensure
the alignment of visual elements with the overall theme and target audience.
NOTE :
Prior experience in editing, writing, book design and project management will be regarded as an added value.
Requirements
● Proven experience in project management within the publishing industry.
● Strong understanding of the book publishing process from manuscript to publication.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide constructive feedback and
collaborate with team members.
● Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple
projects simultaneously.
● Familiarity with industry-standard editing and design software is a plus.
● Creative thinking and a passion for literature.

Office Location - Citylight, Surat, Gujarat.
Work Type - In-Office, Fulltime.
Working Days - 6 Days a week (Monday to Saturday)
Compensation - As per the industry standards, also depending on your experience and expertise
