Role Overview:
The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive services such as oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, and rotations. Responsibilities include driving customers, picking up parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Duties:Conduct basic vehicle services, observe and report vehicle conditions, operate company vehicles safely, and perform safety and emission inspections. Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:Must be at least 18, possess a valid driver’s license, and ideally hold or be able to obtain a State Inspector License. Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics is required. Ability to work Monday through Saturday.
Physical & Work Conditions:Capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in environments with noise, fumes, and varying temperatures. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
