Students Worship Leader: CCV

Christ's Church of the Valley is hiring a part-time Students Worship Leader for its North Surprise campus in Surprise, Arizona. The job opening leads worship for junior-high and high-school student services. The role recruits, trains, schedules, and communicates with volunteer musicians while working with the Lead Student Worship Pastor and campus Student Pastor.

The position requires strong vocal ability, proficiency in guitar or keyboard, and two to three years of experience leading worship leader and a team of musicians. The role also requires proficiency in Ableton Live, strong understanding of music styles and instrumentation, and high engagement with staff and students on and off stage.

The Students Worship Leader leads worship for junior-high and high-school services at the designated campus. Selected music must be learned and executed at a high level, with the leader working alongside the Lead Student Worship Pastor to create and develop the campus worship experience.

The role carries the CCV Students worship vision into campus services and student ministry events. The leader also attends junior-high and high-school camps and events as needed, contributes to CCV Music culture, and participates in weekday Music Team meetings at the PEO campus as needed.

Volunteer musicians are recruited, developed, scheduled, and maintained through regular communication. The role also works with volunteers on musical preparation and service availability.

Team development includes relationship‑building, constructive feedback, documentation, presentation, and supervision skills. The leader maintains campus‑team availability one day per week and remains available for weekly one‑to‑ones as needed.

Monthly All Staff meetings provide leadership development and team‑building participation. The position also requires attendance at worship services with family and active involvement in the church's service and group life.
