Graduate Assistant Club Baseball

The job summary involves assisting the program manager in various aspects of the program, including coaching, practice organization, conditioning supervision, event management, transportation, recruitment, equipment control, and academic monitoring and mentoring. Extensive specific sport experience, including collegiate playing and/or coaching, is required.
Essential functions and required duties include:
- Recruiting prospective students and guiding them through the enrollment process.
- Supporting the Club Program and individual members, working towards team unity and general campus unity.
- Overseeing student-athletes' academic progress.
- Managing expenses within the program budget.
- Providing strong academic emphasis and support.
- Engaging in fundraising for the program.
- Providing leadership for campus involvement and community service.
- Offering Christ-centered leadership and direction for the Baseball program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred experience includes knowledge of and experience in collegiate sports, effective communication and motivational skills, and program development/management skills.
Standard university expectations involve modeling collaboration, understanding university policies, providing leadership, being mindful of the university's mission, and exercising inclusivity.
Graduate assistant general information includes a tuition waiver, a partial meal allowance, and a bi-weekly living stipend. Renewals for a second year are based on academic performance and quality execution of duties. International candidates must secure an F1 student visa and meet international admissions criteria.
