SPED Teacher -STC AZ

We are seeking a Full-Time SPED Teacher
-STC to support a school district in Surprise, AZ.

We are seeking a SPED Teacher (STC) to join our team at Platinum Therapy for a K–2 Special Teaching Classroom (STC). In this role, you will provide specialized academic and behavioral support to students with disabilities in a structured classroom setting. Your work will directly impact students and their families by helping create a supportive and effective learning environment that promotes student growth and success.

• Provide individualized and small‑group instruction based on student needs and IEP goals
• Implement accommodations and modifications to support student learning
• Develop, manage, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and service records
• Support students with behavioral, social, and academic needs in the classroom setting
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings, case management, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Ensure compliance with special education regulations and district guidelines

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Credential (or eligibility)
• Experience working with elementary‑aged students, preferably grades K–2
• Knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and classroom accommodations
• Familiarity with SEIS or similar documentation systems preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

• Able to manage classroom responsibilities effectively and efficiently

• $29-54 per hour (based on experience and location)
