Special Education Teacher - Surprise, AZ

In this position, youll provide individualized instruction and support to help students reach their learning goals and fulfill their potential in an inclusive classroom environment.

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience working with students requiring specialized instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of IEP development, behavioral interventions, and progress monitoring

• Plan, adapt, and deliver engaging instruction tailored to students unique learning needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams and families
  
  Assess student strengths and challenges, maintaining accurate records to monitor progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Address behavioral and academic needs with proactive strategies and positive reinforcement
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to special education services
