Elementary Special Education Teacher

Elementary Special Education Teacher Buckeye, AZ | $42–$48/hr

We're hiring an Elementary Special Education Teacher for a school district in Buckeye, Arizona, about 25 minutes from Surprise. This is a full-time position for the 2026–27 school year. We're straightforward about pay, setting, and caseload, and we never submit your resume to a district without your permission.

• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with Arizona and federal special education law
• Support elementary students in cross-categorical and self-contained settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual goals
• Manage a caseload of up to 25 students
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation and timelines

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement
• Experience in cross-categorical or self-contained elementary settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Pay: $42–$48 per hour, W-2, paid weekly, depending on experience and endorsement
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Term: 2026–27 school year, with renewal potential
