Sped Teacher-Resource

RCM Healthcare Services seeks a Special Education (Sped) Teacher - Resource to support students with IEPs in a school-based setting. In this role, you will provide targeted resource room instruction, adapt curriculum, and implement evidence-based interventions to help diverse learners meet academic and behavioral goals. You'll collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families, maintain detailed documentation, and ensure compliance with IDEA and district regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted resource room instruction to students with IEPs.
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with the school team.
• Adapt and differentiate curriculum and assessments for diverse learners.
• Use data and progress monitoring tools to track student growth.
• Implement behavior support strategies and classroom management plans.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA and district policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and professional development.
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment aligned with school goals.
