Special Education Teacher position for a 36-week contract in Surprise, AZ. Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs while collaborating with classroom staff. Earn up to $57 per hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver individualized special education services to students in a school setting
- Collaborate with classroom staff and parents to develop and implement IEPs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
- Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment conducive to student success
- Adhere to all district policies, state regulations, and safety protocols
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or an equivalent field
- Valid Education Certification or License in Special Education
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting with strong special education strategies
- Must have Legacy facility requirements
- Adaptability, patience, and strong communication skills
- Background checks and compliance with school district policies
- Ability to work a daytime schedule, 40 hours per week

You hold a valid Special Education certification. You have at least one year of special education experience. You can develop and implement individualized education plans effectively
