Senior Electrical Estimator

Role Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to support complex, large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an electrical estimating professional with a strong background working directly for an electrical contractor and a proven track record estimating major industrial projects.

The position can be based in Gilbert, Arizona;
Denver, Colorado; or Dallas, Texas
, with the opportunity to support high-profile projects across industries including power, manufacturing, water/wastewater, energy, and heavy industrial sectors.

• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for large, complex industrial and infrastructure projects from conceptual design through final bid submission.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements to develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, bid evaluations, and estimate reviews to support competitive project proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure estimates align with project requirements and execution strategies.
• Develop estimates for complex electrical systems across industrial environments, including power distribution, controls, instrumentation, and related electrical infrastructure.
• Utilize estimating software and tools, including Accubid, to create accurate and efficient project estimates.
• Support project pursuits involving major industrial clients and complex construction environments.

• Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Estimator or Electrical Estimator working for an electrical contractor.
• Strong background estimating large and complex industrial projects, including experience with environments such as:
• Food Processing Facilities (including major plant projects)
• Oil and Gas Facilities
• Water/Wastewater and Water Treatment Projects
• Power Generation Projects
• Manufacturing Facilities
• Pulp and Paper Facilities
• Agricultural Operations
• Pharmaceutical Facilities
• Heavy Industrial Projects
• Hands-on experience using Accubid estimating software.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, materials, labor requirements, and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience developing accurate estimates for high-value, complex projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams.
