Mid-level​/Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the system development life cycle
• Analyze and decompose requirements and system design
• Use software tools for analysis and development of models and simulations
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure system effectiveness
• Develop system performance requirements and conduct analyses for trade evaluations
• Create and monitor requirements management processes and risk assessments

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• Systems engineering experience involving system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis, and verification
• Experience with at least one high level software development language (e.g. MATLAB, Python, C++)
• 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education (Level
  3)
• 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Level
  4)
• Experience simulating satellite digital communications systems link effects
• Experience simulating satellite orbital design
• Experience with MBSE, SysML, No
  
  Magic Cameo, and creating model(s)
• Experience with digital communications systems design and analysis
