Job Description
Performance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee-owned organization as an entry-level
Performance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee-owned organization as an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Rigging 521 operations based in Tempe, Arizona.
This position does require travel. The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.
Job Responsibilities- Conducting safety meetings
- Creating and managing punch lists
- Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI's QA/QC program
- Preparing RFI's and submittals
- Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
- Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
- Supporting the implementation of the job schedule
- Coordinating warranties and O&M's
- Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
This position is safety-sensitive.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Basic Requirements- Must have a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
- A clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they are taught
- Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities
- Must have critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask
- Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Works well under pressure and deadlines
- OSHA certifications
- Experience with different scopes of construction
- Willing to travel/relocate based on project needs
