Security Solutions Architect, Cloud Specialist

• Collaborate with field sellers and enterprise customer teams to drive local and corporate growth initiatives
• Deliver advanced technical expertise on the Qualys Platform
• Design and propose Qualys solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives
• Advise customers on asset and vulnerability management, patching, threat detection and response, compliance, and cloud and application security
• Support complex pre-sales deals and own technical engagements to secure the technical win
• Document customer compliance and security requirements and develop end-to-end solutions using Qualys and partner integrations
• Identify customer capability gaps and demonstrate Qualys solutions to address them
• Engage prospects and existing customers to drive technical wins for new opportunities
• Execute proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements for strategic pursuits
• Establish trusted advisory relationships with customer technical decision makers
• Develop and deliver differentiated-value proposals with field sellers
• Interface with product management on customer feature requests, new products, integrations, and roadmap planning
• Deliver workshops, whiteboarding architecture sessions, and post-sale deployment health checks
• Contribute to sales-enablement packages, product messaging, field-sales training, blogs, whitepapers, and solution guides
• Document and distribute technical and business insights to leadership
• Represent Qualys at industry events

• Demonstrated proficiency in public cloud infrastructure services
• Professional certifications in AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Extensive experience with Qualys and other security and compliance platforms as a practitioner, technical seller, sales engineer, or customer success architect
• Strong understanding and hands‑on expertise in asset management, patching, vulnerability management, policy compliance, configuration management, cloud and application security, and threat detection
• Proven ability to design and comprehend complex security and compliance architectures from identification through remediation and recovery
• In‑depth knowledge of industry standards and compliance frameworks for corporate and government security programs
• Demonstrated experience interacting with customers in similar technical seller roles
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed, at least 30%
• Prefer candidates living in Southeast U.S.
