School Sign Language Interpreter in Surprise, Arizona. This 36-week contract offers competitive pay up to $50 per hour and focuses on facilitating communication in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret American Sign Language to enable effective communication between students and educators.

  • Ensure adherence to confidentiality, privacy policies, and safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with teachers, students, and staff to support educational and communication goals.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of interpreted sessions and outcomes.

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development as required.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.

  • CPR certification from an accredited agency (in person).

  • First Aid certification from an accredited agency (in person).

  • 1 year of instructional interpretation in a school environment.

  • Completion of an Interpreter Training program.

  • Valid driver's license, Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, Social Security Card, and meet facility must haves.
