GTI Fabrication is seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support the optimization of material flow, inventory performance, production readiness, and supply chain execution across our manufacturing operations. This role serves as a critical link between Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Operations, and Finance by transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational performance and strategic decision-making.
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for monitoring key supply chain metrics, identifying risks to production, improving inventory health, and developing reporting tools that provide visibility into material availability, supplier performance, and overall supply chain effectiveness. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and possesses the ability to translate complex data into meaningful recommendations that improve customer delivery, working capital performance, and operational efficiency.
This position requires a hands-on professional who can move beyond reporting to proactively identify trends, solve problems, and influence business outcomes through data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities- Supply Chain Analytics & Business Intelligence – Monitor, analyze and communicate trends related to inventory, supplier performance, procurement activity, material shortages, lead times, production readiness, and customer delivery performance.
- – Develop, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools that provide visibility into key supply chain performance indicators.
- – Create executive-level reporting that supports strategic decision-making across Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams.
- – Perform root-cause analysis on supply chain disruptions and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
- Inventory & Material Management – Partners with Planning and Procurement teams to identify material constraints and proactively mitigate risks to production schedules.
- Monitor inventory health, including excess and obsolete inventory, inventory turns, safety stock levels, and material availability.
- Support cycle count programs, inventory accuracy initiatives, variance analysis, and inventory optimization efforts.
- Analyze demand and consumption trends to recommend inventory parameter adjustments that improve service levels while minimizing working capital.
- Supplier Performance & Procurement Support – Partner with Procurement to identify sourcing risks, supplier bottlenecks, and opportunities for cost reduction or improved supplier performance.
- Monitor purchase order execution and supplier commitments to ensure material availability aligns with production requirements.
- Develop supplier scorecards and performance metrics focused on on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness, lead time adherence, and cost performance.
- Support supplier performance reviews through data collection, trend analysis, and reporting.
- Production Readiness & Operational Support – Support production planning activities by providing material status visibility and identifying potential shortages that may impact manufacturing schedules.
- Analyze clear-to-build status, material readiness, and supply chain constraints to improve operational execution.
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and manufacturing capacity.
- Evaluate material flow throughout procurement, receiving, warehousing, production, and shipping processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
