Production Manager – Frac Sand / Silica Sand Mining

The role is specifically suited to someone with direct experience in frac sand, silica sand, sand mining, or similar industrial mineral processing environments. This position requires full knowledge of the production process—from mining/extraction through washing, drying, screening, sizing, loadout, and overall plant performance.

• Lead day-to-day production across a high-volume silica/frac sand operation.
• Oversee wet and dry plant processing, screening, drying, sizing, and loadout activity.
• Drive safety, uptime, throughput, quality, recovery, and cost performance.
• Manage and develop operators, supervisors, and production personnel.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance, quality, logistics, and senior leadership.
• Identify process improvements across plant efficiency, reliability, and production output.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA and company safety standards.

• Direct experience in frac sand, silica sand, sand mining, or industrial minerals.
• Strong understanding of sand processing, including wet plant, dry plant, screening, drying, and loadout.
• Proven production leadership experience in a mining or processing environment.
• Strong safety mindset and MSHA exposure.
• Comfortable in a hands‑on, fast‑paced plant environment.
