Forklift & Building Material Operator

Weyerhaeuser seeks a Forklift & Building Material Operator to support our manufacturing operations. In this on-site role, you will safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move, load, and stack lumber and building products. You'll read work orders, organize inventory, and keep the yard clean and efficient while following strict safety and environmental standards. Working with a collaborative team, you'll help ensure timely production and shipments that support sustainable wood products across North America.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move lumber and building materials safely
• Load, unload, stack, and stage products according to yard and mill requirements
• Inspect forklifts and equipment daily and report or resolve safety or maintenance issues
• Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines
• Maintain clean, organized yard and storage areas to support efficient operations
• Read work orders, tags, and inventory documents to locate and prepare materials
• Work closely with production, shipping, and yard teams to meet schedule and quality targets
• Assist with basic inventory counts and material checks as needed
