We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract opportunity at a state-run Veterans Home in Yuma, AZ. This role offers a stable schedule, strong hourly pay and the opportunity to work with a geriatric population in a structured clinical environment.

  12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Hours:
  
  36 hours one week, 48 hours the next
• Contract Length: 6+ months with potential to extend
• Setting:
  Skilled nursing / long-term care (Veterans Home)

• Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents
• Administer medications and treatments within scope
• Monitor resident condition and report changes
• Perform wound care, catheter care and other clinical procedures
• Support care planning and documentation
• Supervise CNAs and assist with ADLs as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team

• Active Arizona LPN license
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing or geriatric settings preferred
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Comfortable supervising support staff

• Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
• TB test
• Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
• Current license and credentials
