Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

• Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit
• Gather and report patient data
• Carry out medical orders
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner
• Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides
• Current BLS certification required
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments preferred
• Comfort working with vents, trachs, and PICC lines preferred
• Two years of experience in direct patient care preferred

Demonstrates proficiency in providing nursing care under the direction of an RN, with a focus on patient data gathering, medical order execution, and therapeutic procedures. Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse and BLS certification, with experience in direct patient care and familiarity with critical care environments.
