Member Specialist

Position Summary

The Member Front-Line Professional provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues, promotes Sam's Club products and services, and supports members with self-service technology.

• Provide member service and address member inquiries.
• Maintain and operate the checkout area, including processing purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Promote Sam's Club products and services to members.
• Support members in using self‑service technology and mobile retail applications.
• Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and properly handle merchandise.
• Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, and assist members with purchasing decisions and transporting items.
• Assist with training of Member Front‑Line associates on company processes and procedures.
• Manage merchandise zones, arrange and organize products, and identify shrink or damages.
• Maintain required documentation, logs, and compliance with security and safety policies.
• Respond to emergencies, report unsafe situations, and support safeguarding Sam's Club assets.
• Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers to set priorities and improve processes.

• Experience operating front‑end retail equipment (e.g., cash register).
• Experience working with mobile retail applications.

• Additional experience with front‑end technology and member service in a retail environment.
