Yard Hostler (Weekend, Overnight)

Location:

Waddell, Arizona, United States

• Ensure trailers are moved within the yard safely and efficiently using a Terminal Tractor.
• Perform yard management, maintain good housekeeping, and uphold yard rules and standards.

• Minimum of one year of Yard Hostler operation experience (preferred).
• Prior exposure to CPG and/or Food & Beverage industries (preferred).
• Demonstrated decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and/or warehouse management systems.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills beneficial.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach, and climb steps and/or ladders for required tasks.
• Occasional lifting, moving, and placing of up to 75 pounds.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures, and weather conditions.
• Certified and competent to operate a Terminal Tractor and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other facility equipment.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.
• At least 18 years old.
• Verbal and written communication abilities.
• Active driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Travel 0‑10%
• Permanent full‑time position.

Weekend nights:
Week 1:
Friday – Sunday 5 pm – 5 am;
Week 2:
Thursday – Sunday 5 pm – 5 am.

The compensation for this position includes a base pay of $21.00 per hour, a $3 shift differential, and a 5 % target quarterly bonus. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Benefits are available to eligible employees.
