Tool Repair Technician

Job Description

Westech is looking for an experienced Tool Repair Technician to diagnose and repair electric, battery-powered, and pneumatic power tools.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mechanical skills and experience troubleshooting and repairing power tools.

• Diagnose and repair electric, battery-powered, and pneumatic tools
• Disassemble tools to identify worn or defective parts
• Replace components such as switches, brushes, wiring, bearings, and seals
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust tools to ensure proper operation
• Test tools after repair to confirm proper function
• Record repairs performed, parts used, and labor time
• Maintain a clean and organized shop area

• Previous experience repairing power tools or pneumatic tools required
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
• Ability to read service manuals and parts diagrams
• Detail oriented and able to work independently

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs
• Comfortable working in a shop/warehouse environment
