Frontend Developer – UI Design

Requirements Must have:

• Expert in CSS, including preprocessors like Less or Sass
• Proven experience in building and managing a design system or component library
• Strong communication skills between design and development teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced development environment
• Proactive in learning new front-end tools and techniques
• Proficient with Vue.js or similar frameworks
• Knowledgeable in Bootstrap and Tailwind
• Understanding of browser rendering, CSS performance, and responsive design
• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative pull requests

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, refactor, and enhance our design-system codebase for consistency and performance using CSS and Java Script
• Create new UI components that are styled, documented, and tested for use across Rock RMS
• Work closely with designers to convert mockups and style guides into production-ready code
• Collaborate with backend and full-stack developers to integrate components into the application
• Produce clear documentation and usage examples for every component
• Engage in code reviews, ensuring adherence to CSS/HTML/JS best practices and accessibility standards
