Administrative Assistant

Ott Transportation Services Inc. located at 8952 Holt Road, Surrey, BC, , Canada is seeking to hire 1 full-time office Administrative Assistant to perform the administrative duties of their trucking business. The Job is permanent, and the qualified employee will be paid hourly at the rate of $28.85 for 40 hours per week.

The candidate who wishes to apply should have Secondary (High School graduation) certificate and should be able to communicate in English. He or she should also have 7 months to less than 1 year years of experience in the administrative field to perform the administrative work in an effective manner. Moreover, the candidate is required to work mornings, day, weekends, and overtime.

• Determine and establish office procedures and routines
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
• Answer electronic enquiries
• Compile data, statistics and other information
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory
• Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
• Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
• Perform data entry
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
