TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Technician to work on our client’s team. This position plays a key role in ensuring contract processes run smoothly, documentation is accurate, and projects remain aligned across the contract lifecycle.
This is a long-term contract position with full-time hours. The contract will start with a one-year term with high possibilities of extension.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Input, update, and validate contract data within systems and document platforms
- Act as a liaison with external vendors to coordinate documentation, submissions, and contract requirements
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records, including changes, commitments, and correspondence
- Generate and maintain reports related to contract status, financial tracking, and change management
- Coordinate the preparation, distribution, and tracking of contract-related documents such as bid packages, amendments, and agreements
- Support document control practices to ensure commercial records are complete and accessible
- Review vendor invoices and progress submissions
- Monitor contract progress from initiation through closeout, ensuring timelines and documentation remain on track
- Preform other duties as assigned
- Post secondary degree in business, supply chain, engineering technology, or a related field
- 1–4 years of experience in contract support, procurement coordination, or project administration
- Robust communication skills
- Effective organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with enterprise systems used for contract tracking and document management
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain data integrity across multiple systems
- Familiarity with contract structures and basic commercial principles
- Strong Excel skills, including data organization, tracking, and reconciliation
