Procurement Specialist

Match Box Consulting is on the hunt for a Procurement Specialist. This role supports sourcing and procurement activities for medium-complexity initiatives, contributing to the development and execution of sourcing strategies while working closely with internal teams and suppliers.

Contract: 2 years

• Support sourcing and procurement activities from strategy through to award.
• Assist with the development and execution of sourcing and category strategies.
• Prepare and support procurement documents (e.g., RFPs, RFQs, RFTs) and evaluations.
• Identify and assess sourcing and supply risks and support mitigation actions.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support procurement outcomes.
• Track progress of sourcing initiatives and report status to project or department leads.

• 5 years of procurement and sourcing experience.
• Undergraduate degree in an engineering or business-related subject (or equivalent experience).
• SCMP or equivalent designation (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience preparing procurement documents and supporting supplier negotiations.
  
  Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience in public sector or regulated procurement environments.
• Experience with full-cycle sourcing from strategy to award.
• Additional education or certification in Supply Chain or Project Management.
