Drive effective benefits administration as a Benefits Analyst at 7-Eleven in Vancouver. Oversee Canadian benefits programs while engaging with senior management and external consultants for optimal performance.
Under the direction of the Director of Benefits, you’ll manage the comprehensive Canadian Retirement Plan and Group Insurance program. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, ensuring up-to-date member communications, and managing vendor contracts. A focus on innovation in benefits cost control and adherence to relevant regulations will be a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer the Canadian Retirement Plan and benefits communication
• Oversee vendor selection for group benefits and retirement plans
• Process claims for disability, life, and extended health benefits
• Manage employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility
• Conduct documentation review including proposals and contracts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years in benefits administration
• Proficient in Oracle HRIS and related systems
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Ability to detail regulatory compliance
• Understanding of insurance policies and vendor contracts
