Independent B2B Sales Consultant
Tax Safari is a premier, fully virtual accounting and tax practice based in Ontario. Led by a trained accountant with over 5 years of experience, we act as a dedicated Financial Concierge for ambitious newcomer entrepreneurs, incorporated small businesses, and tech expats navigating their first years in Canada. Our mission is to remove the stress of CRA compliance, global asset reporting, and sales tax tracking so our clients can focus entirely on scaling their ventures.
Role DescriptionThis is an outbound, hunt-focused B2B business development role for a self-motivated Independent Contractor. You will have full autonomy over your schedule and outreach strategies, focusing exclusively on sourcing high-value business clients rather than low-margin personal files.
- Execute proactive outbound prospecting via Linked In, online expat communities, local networking circles, and tech startup hubs.
- Identify and connect with target niches:
Newcomer corporate entities, self-employed contractors, tech professionals with global assets (RSUs), and immigrant business founders. - Build strategic B2B referral networks with Ontario immigration consultants, relocation agencies, and real estate professionals.
- Qualify incoming prospects through brief discovery conversations, focusing on their bookkeeping, GST/HST tracking, and complex foreign property (T1135) needs.
- Seamlessly hand off qualified, high-value leads to the principal accountant for final closing and virtual onboarding.
- Track pipeline metrics independently using our shared digital lead tracking system.
- Employment Type:
Independent Contractor / B2B Contract (Invoice-based). - Location:
Fully Remote / Virtual (Must target the Ontario market). - Compensation: 100% Commission-Based with High Front-Heavy Payouts.
- Earn a flat $100 cash bonus immediately upon the first monthly payment of any recurring bookkeeping client you secure.
- Earn 15% of the total contract value for corporate year-end setups ($105+ per closed contract).
- Earn 20% of flat fees for complex personal/foreign property returns ($70+ per return).
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field is an asset but not mandatory if you have a proven track record.
- A basic understanding of Canadian business structures (Sole Proprietorship vs. Corporation) and sales taxes (GST/HST) is highly advantageous.
- 1–3 years of proven sales or outbound prospecting experience, preferably within professional services, financial industries, or B2B SaaS environments.
- Solid track record of managing a sales pipeline from cold outreach to qualified hand-off.
- Experience navigating Linked In Sales Navigator or digital prospecting tools is a major asset.
- Airtight English Communication
Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal skills are mandatory to confidently guide professionals and corporate transfers. - Strategic Prospecting:
Comfortable running targeted outbound email, social messaging, and digital networking campaigns. - Value-Based Pitching:
Ability to sell the peace-of-mind of a premium "Financial Concierge" service without resorting to cheap discounting. - Autonomy & Discipline:
Highly organized self-starter who excels working independently without daily oversight.
