Policy Analyst at Electricity

Join Electricity Canada as a Policy Analyst, focusing on committee coordination and policy development. This role involves engaging with stakeholders and managing critical projects in a one-year contract.

As a Policy Analyst reporting to the Director of Distribution, you will facilitate committee meetings and support the development of key policy insights related to electricity distribution and emerging technologies. Your analytical skills will be essential in conducting research to inform strategic initiatives and ensure that Electricity Canada's positions reflect member priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and support committee planning and engagement activities

• Create meeting materials and track follow-ups effectively

• Develop briefing materials and survey responses as needed

• Monitor industry and regulatory developments relevant to members

• Convert complex information into clear narratives for diverse audiences

Requirements:

• Degree in public policy, economics, or related field

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in policy work

• Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholders

• Organized and independent approach to work

• Familiarity with technical and industry-related issues
