Research Associate Vancouver (Hybrid)
The Opportunity The Research Associate contributes to the execution of various research projects utilizing an array of online tools and our internal database. The role offers the chance to collaborate with senior leadership on highly impactful projects and interact with senior executives across multiple sectors. The Associate participates in the entire life cycle of the executive search process, including market research and analysis, candidate identification, interviews, report generation, and client meetings.
The position also supports marketing initiatives and general administration as assigned and provides opportunities to attend industry-related conferences, networking events, and professional development courses.
Key Responsibilities Lead candidate sourcing and talent market mapping projects related to search assignments.
Initiate correspondence on behalf of the Company with prospective and active candidates, complete pre‑qualifying interviews, and conduct reference checks as directed.
Manage the candidate background check process and oversee external psychometric testing activities.
Conduct research related to the Company’s business and market development activities.
Manage the Company’s database and social media accounts.
Participate in candidate interviews, supporting senior consultants, taking notes, and evaluating fit against role profiles.
Assist in interview coordination and candidate evaluation by preparing briefing notes, contributing to assessment summaries, and revising interview guides.
Support the interview process, including revising interview guides to be position‑specific and participating in interviews as required.
Manage administrative duties such as generating reports, creating marketing collateral, tracking and organizing expenses, and other assigned tasks.
Attend client meetings as required.
Participate in professional development initiatives assigned by the Company.
Format and edit reports and presentations from draft to client‑ready work, using independent judgment to compose general, non‑technical business documents.
Edit project deliverables, including technical reports and presentations.
Establish a systematic method to track time commitments and task completion based on client preferences, independently managing multiple projects and anticipating needs.
Qualifications Three to five years of experience providing administrative and project coordination support in a rapid‑paced, entrepreneurial, project‑based environment.
Post‑secondary degree in business administration, human resources, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Highly ethical, valuing honest and confidential information exchange with clients and candidates.
Ability to work in a team environment, remotely and with minimal supervision.
Highly motivated with proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.
Ability to establish and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong time‑management skills and high level of organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills capable of operating in an unstructured entrepreneurial environment.
