Position: Emergency Response HAZMAT Leader Role
Take charge as a HAZMAT Team Leader with GFL Services, where you will lead emergency response teams and manage hazardous material projects. Prioritize safety while executing comprehensive training programs.

In this role with GFL, the HAZMAT Team Leader will manage dynamic responses to hazardous materials emergencies. You will be responsible for everything from project planning to team training. Strong leadership and the ability to uphold safety standards are essential for this role, along with an eagerness to learn and grow within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Swiftly respond to urgent HAZMAT emergencies

• Oversee chemical transfers and neutralization processes

• Coordinate resources for successful emergency responses

• Maintain readiness of all emergency response equipment

• Lead safety initiatives and compliance checks

Requirements:

• Class 5 driver’s license; other classes are beneficial

• Must be flexible for on-call and travel needs

• Experience in handling hazardous materials is preferable

• Capable of wearing protective clothing

• Willing to engage in extensive training programs
