Position: KPU Arts Journalism Student Assistant Role
Join the Faculty of Arts, Journalism and Communications at KPU as a Student Assistant. Play a key role in researching and creating content for the KPU 50th anniversary book project.

The Faculty is seeking a diligent Student Assistant from the journalism or creative writing program. Your main duties will include researching KPU’s history, performing interviews, and editing work from fellow students. You will also create and manage the project's website and social media accounts to promote KPU’s past.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research KPU’s history and notable figures

• Conduct interviews with involved individuals

• Transcribe and write profiles based on interviews

• Edit peers' written submissions

• Maintain the project's online presence and social media

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Enrollment in journalism or creative writing

• Dependable and hardworking

• Basic web design and social media knowledge

• Interest in history and post-secondary education
