Surrey- Controller

Position: Surrey-Based Controller Opportunity
Step into a diverse Controller position at a stable manufacturing company based in Surrey. This role focuses on accounting variety, team mentoring, and critical financial management tasks.

As the Controller, you will report directly to the President while leading three accounting professionals. The position involves preparing consolidated financial statements, managing cash flow, and overseeing month-end closures. As you grow within the role, opportunities for additional responsibilities in financial planning and analysis, tax coordination, and cross-department collaborations will arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the preparation of consolidated financial statements

• Manage cash flow and banking operations

• Ensure closure of month-end and quarter-end accounts

• Lead and mentor Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Payroll teams

• Collaborate on financial system optimizations and planning

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience

• CPA designation preferred or actively pursuing

• Strong analytical capabilities and a learning attitude

• Proficient in Excel; ERP knowledge necessary

• Proven leadership experience in finance teams
