In this transformative role, the Advisor Development Specialist will recruit, train, and mentor aspiring financial advisors at Sun Life. You will collaborate with district and regional teams to ensure new advisors receive a fulfilling onboarding experience, complete with training in product knowledge and sales practices. Your contributions will help these advisors build successful, holistic businesses while fostering a positive environment within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor advisor progress and compliance throughout onboarding
• Conduct training sessions in various financial services areas
• Support advisors in achieving sales growth and client engagement
• Partner with head office teams for enhanced advisor support
• Organize events that strengthen local community ties
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in financial services
• Valid Life Insurance license required
• Mutual Fund license to be obtained shortly after hiring
• Strong sales management and recruitment skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
