Senior Analyst, Collateral Management

Overview

Our client, a leading Financial Institution, is seeking a Senior Analyst to join their Collateral Management team on a 12-month contract. This role focuses on supporting daily collateral operations, including margining activities, portfolio reconciliations, and issue resolution across a range of derivative products. The position is a 3 days a week onsite, hands‑on role suited for a fast‑paced environment.

• Perform daily collateral management activities, including variation margin and initial margin calculations and calls.
• Complete portfolio reconciliations and investigate/resolve breaks in a timely manner.
• Support reviews and oversight of collateral processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to internal and external stakeholder inquiries, providing clear and concise explanations.
• Troubleshoot reconciliation and margin discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Work with various counter parties across derivatives and repo products.

• 3+ years of experience in collateral management or other capital market operations.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives and repo products (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of collateral processes, including initial and variation margin.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve breaks/issues independently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a polished, professional presence.
