Cash Handler – Currency Exchange
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Cash Handler to join our currency exchange team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, ensuring accurate currency exchanges, maintaining records, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Process currency exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash, foreign currencies, and financial instruments securely.
Verify and authenticate currency notes to prevent fraud and counterfeiting.
Maintain accurate transaction records and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
Assist customers with inquiries regarding exchange rates and transaction procedures.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
Report any discrepancies, suspicious activities, or operational issues to management.
Operate cash registers, counting machines, and relevant financial software.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional financial or accounting training is a plus.
Previous experience in cash handling, banking, or a currency exchange business is preferred.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle large amounts of cash.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with accounting or record‑keeping software.
Trustworthiness and integrity in handling financial transactions.

Conditions:
May require standing for extended periods.
Shifts may include weekends, holidays, or evenings, depending on business hours.
Secure handling of high-value transactions and adherence to safety protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
