Manager, National Tax Services

Make an impact with our National Tax Services Group as a Manager.

• Develop and maintain firm standards, processes and tools to support the delivery of tax services to our clients.
• Manage and maintain tax templates in accordance with the latest tax updates.
• Develop internal training materials and practice aids to support the implementation of firm standards.
• Facilitate and assist with firm-wide learning and development events as required.
• Research and keep up to date with the latest changes in local tax legislation; draft internal and external tax publications.
• Issue tax technical research and information/support to professionals throughout the firm.
• Prepare and participate in internal tax compliance and planning projects.
• Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.

• CPA designation.
• Completion of level 1 and 2 of the In-Depth Tax Program.
• Written and verbal French and English language skills.
• 4 to 5 years of relevant tax practice experience in a public accounting firm.
• Experience preparing and reviewing domestic tax compliance and implementing tax reorganizations.
• Experience with private companies and owner-manager taxation is considered an asset.
• Solid understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles.
• Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills.
