Financial Services Representative (BCGEU) – Morgan Creek (12‑Month Contract)
Join Vancity, a member‑owned credit union committed to inclusion, social justice, and community impact. As a part‑time, temporary Financial Services Representative (BCGEU), you will support members at the Morgan Creek Community Branch (Branch 70) and report directly to the Assistant Branch Manager.
Your Role in Supporting Our Members:Build relationships by learning about members while assisting them with banking transactions. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the trusted advisor for members who value the branch experience.
How You'll Make an Impact:- Perform member transactions consistent with established standards to deliver high‑quality service.
- Identify and assess member/prospect needs to provide appropriate products, services, and referrals.
- Apply branch service standards, policies, procedures and controls to meet compliance requirements and mitigate risk.
- Leverage technical systems to create an efficient, seamless member service experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience interacting with people and businesses in a professional setting with strong customer‑service skills.
- Problem‑solver – analytical, able to multitask, and find solutions.
- Tech‑savvy – quick learner who excels with technology and systems.
- Great communicator – comfortable building relationships and engaging conversations.
- Ready for a challenge – positive attitude, thrives in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
Starting salary: $26.35 per hour (per the collective agreement). Base pay may vary based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Eligible for the annual incentive program, subject to eligibility requirements.
