Position: Financial Analyst for Operations
FortisBC seeks a full-time temporary Operations Financial Analyst in Surrey, BC. Play a key role in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting to support operational decisions and enhance performance.

This role involves leading budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting activities, ensuring alignment with corporate financial policies. You will collaborate with business leaders to manage operational budgets while analyzing financial performance to provide actionable insights. Your work will directly impact strategic planning and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting and forecasting for operational groups

• Partner with leaders to develop and manage budgets

• Monitor financial performance and deliver variance analysis

• Prepare financial reports and business insights

• Ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Three years of relevant experience required

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Proficient in SAP, SharePoint, MS Office, BI tools

• Knowledge of statistical and cost-benefit analysis techniques
