Join a growing manufacturer as a strategic Contract Controller in Western Canada. This part-time role involves enhancing financial operations and mentoring accounting staff.
We are searching for a skilled controller with practical experience in Business Central to assess financial strategies and optimize reporting procedures. The role initially focuses on identifying key financial gaps and then transitions into a leadership position, offering guidance to the accounting team and participating in strategy meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and enhance existing financial operations
• Identify reporting gaps and propose strategic solutions
• Ensure accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Mentor existing accounting team members
• Provide strategic insights in leadership discussions
Requirements:
• 5+ years of accounting experience expected
• 3+ years in a controller or assistant controller role
• Strong familiarity with Business Central (Dynamics 365)
• Experience in full-cycle accounting practices
• Manufacturing or distribution experience is a bonus
