FortisBC, known for its extensive energy services, is hiring a Financial Analyst to support its operational teams for a 12-month period. This position encompasses budgeting, forecasting, and financial data analysis to drive insights and improve decision-making. You will deliver critical financial reports while ensuring policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead budgeting and cost accounting activities
• Provide variance analysis with recommendations for improvement
• Prepare financial reports to support operational planning
• Ensure integrity of financial records and job costing
• Conduct special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis
Requirements:
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Three years of related financial experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in analytical techniques and tools
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications
