Oversee actuarial projects with a focus on accuracy in pricing, reserving, and forecasting. Champion automation and modeling initiatives while effectively communicating complex findings to senior stakeholders.
This leadership position involves guiding project execution, conducting reserve reviews, and establishing strategic assumptions to optimize results. You'll mentor junior team members and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that actuarial insights inform product development and financial reporting. A proficiency in SQL, Python, or R will be essential to drive operational innovation and analytical enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead projects from inception to delivery
• Conduct annual and quarterly reserve reviews
• Validate and develop advanced models
• Present actuarial findings to management
• Mentor and develop junior analysts
Requirements:
• ACAS or FCAS credentials required
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, R, or SAS
• Confident communicator with executive presence
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions
• Experience in enhancing analytical frameworks
