Joining our client's established brokerage in Surrey, you will manage submissions and negotiate with lenders amidst a collaborative team. Your background in handling complex mortgage scenarios and knowledge of compliance regulations will be essential in safeguarding the brokerage’s interests while achieving the best mortgage commitments for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform risk assessments and analyze financial documents

• Structure deals tailored to self-employed and credit-challenged borrowers

• Maintain accurate records using Blu Mortgage or similar CRMs

• Ensure adherence to FINTRAC and AML guidelines

• Conduct client consultations to explain commitments clearly

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in mortgage underwriting

• Deep understanding of credit analysis and GDS/TDS

• Skilled in using mortgage platforms like Expert, Finmo, or Velocity

• Attention to detail in documentation and compliance

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
