What you’ll be doing

As a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team, you’ll lead a high‑performing group of financial services professionals toward a shared goal of delivering an exceptional client experience. You’ll hire, develop, coach, and inspire your team, creating an owner’s mindset to help clients and coworkers succeed, drive revenue growth, and take full accountability for results. You’ll support new and existing customers as they secure futures, purchase homes, and start businesses, working full‑time on‑site at a local banking centre and, when needed, traveling between centres within a reasonable distance.

  • Client experienceLead by example and show your team how to deepen client relationships, meet financial needs, and provide a high standard of service. Go beyond expectations to advocate CIBC in the community, quickly resolve complaints, and know when to escalated issues.

  • Results‑oriented leadership – Create a culture of teamwork so clients are served by the most competent personnel. Monitor business performance, implement action plans to close gaps, and collaborate with partners to maximize market opportunities and overall performance while managing and minimizing risk.

  • People leadership – Lead and coach a high‑performing team of Leaders, Advisors and Representatives to deepen relationships and drive growth. Provide meaningful development opportunities and attract talent that shares our values.

Qualifications
  • You have experience developing and implementing strategic team goals.
  • You have experience coaching employees and inspiring successful team performance.
  • You are a certified professional with current accreditation and good standing.
  • Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada) – required. It is an asset if you have completed Branch Compliance Officer’s Course (BCO), Branch Manager’s Examination Course (BME), Conducts & Practices Handbook (CPH), Wealth Management Essentials (WME), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
