Westland is on the lookout for a Mergers & Acquisitions Manager who can evaluate opportunities and lead financial analyses and due diligence.

Your role will be essential in facilitating acquisitions across Canada, leveraging your background in investment banking or Big 4 advisory to navigate the complexities of deal execution. Engage with diverse teams to build insights and execute on strategic investment decisions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead acquisition evaluations and negotiation processes

• Oversee due diligence and ensure efficient information exchange

• Craft financial models and assess acquisition targets strategically

• Foster relationships with stakeholders and advisors

• Prepare investment materials and documentation for transactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• CPA certification; experience with CFA or CBV advantageous

• 5+ years in a related transaction environment

• Strong Excel skills for financial analysis

• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
