Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Senior Manager, F&B this position is responsible for the overall guest experience of the Food & Beverage Department. Ensures adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports the company’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
Provides leadership to F&B team on a shift by shift basisEnsures high guest satisfaction, resolves complaints, interacts with customers and maintains a positive atmosphereSupervise daily meal service, acts as expeditor during peak times, and ensures cleanliness and ambianceOrdering supplies, managing inventory, control and monitor wasteOffers food and beverage expertise to internal and external customersAssists the monthly inventory count and forwards discrepancies to managementCarries out inspections on a regular basis to ensure consistency and reports maintenance and supplies deficienciesLiaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsDevelops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and team membersEnsures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsManages other initiatives as requiredEducation and Qualifications
Post Secondary hospitality or hotel education or suitable combination of education and experienceMinimum 1 year F&B experienceLeadership experience an assetServing it Right certificationAbility to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communicationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer literacy in MS Office an assetAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseWork Environment Considerations
