Express Employment Professionals Surrey/ Langley office’s client, a manufacturer in Surrey is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator.
The Human Resources Coordinator will assist with performance management procedures, schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, and maintain supervisor agendas. The person will coordinate training sessions and seminars and perform orientations while updating new staff records. They will also produce and submit reports on general human resources department activity. They will assist with payroll and other projects.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee records and managing HR documentation.
- Recruitment Assistance: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating the hiring process.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to start their roles effectively.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR‑related inquiries, policies, and procedures, and help resolve any issues that arise.
- Compliance: Ensure that all HR activities comply with local, provincial and federal regulations, and assist in maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including tracking employee performance reviews and development plans.
- HR Projects: Participate in various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee engagement.
Previous experience in an HR role or administrative position is preferred, with a strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
Skills- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with HR databases and HRIS systems
This is a Monday – Friday on site job.
The salary range for the position is $53,000-$59,000/annually plus benefits.
