Key Responsibilities- Respond to all employee‑initiated ER issues received from Employee Care for assigned business(es).
- Investigate and resolve ER issues, including gathering and analyzing evidence, applying relevant laws, policies and past practice to reach conclusions and provide recommendations on next steps.
- Interpret and apply understanding of corporate and business policy, employment law, and other regulations to provide immediate advice, guidance or clarification for ER inquiries.
- Provide consultation, guidance and coaching to supervisors, managers and HRBPs to address employee conduct concerns, assist with development and delivery of appropriate feedback or corrective/disciplinary actions.
- Work with stakeholders to identify proactive measures.
- Develop and facilitate training on Employee Relations topics.
- Review and create documentation for all involuntary and complex terminations.
- Interpret and apply understanding of leave of absence policies and processes as they relate to ER issues and requests from managers and employees.
- Maintain required documentation within case management system(s), including intake and investigative notes, supporting documents and final reports.
- Escalate ER issues that meet pre‑defined criteria and use judgment to assess risk and sensitivity of ambiguous cases, determining when to elevate to ER management.
Job Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Bilingual in English and French.
- 4+ years of HR experience with Employee Relations responsibility.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
