Human Resources Manager
Our client seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead a team responsible for the day‑to‑day delivery of HR operations, services, and business partner support across the employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the Vice President of People and Culture, the HR Manager will provide senior‑level HR business partner support to leaders in areas such as employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational and team effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Support managers and employees in resolving workplace issues, including conflict resolution and progressive discipline
- Interpret HR policies and the employee handbook in compliance with Alberta Employment Standards and applicable legislation, and recommend policy updates and improvements
- Oversee end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes
- Mentor and support the HR Coordinator
- Review HR metrics and provide oversight to payroll processes
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- CPHR designation, or working toward it, considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards, HR practices, and workforce compliance
- Professional with excellent communication skills
